
MAIN DUTIES OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE UNIT FTTE UNS
To implement control mechanisms for academic quality assurance operational activities, UNS formed a management team for the FTTE Quality Assurance Unit for the 2025 period through Rector’s Decree No. 1653/UN27/HK/2024 dated 21 November 2024, appointing personnel for the FTTE Quality Assurance Unit for the 2025 period. The primary duties and routine tasks of the FTTE Quality Assurance Unit at UNS are as follows:
A. Head of Quality Assurance Unit
- Together with the Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) leadership and its staff, coordinating with the Deputy Head of SPMI and Deputy Head of SPME to plan, implement, evaluate and follow up on quality assurance at Program Study Management Unit (PSMU).
- Together with the Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs and the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni, and the Deputy Head of SPMI, coordinate with the head of PPSMM LPPMP and Korbid SPMIPPSMM LPPMP to create the Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) SPMI Standard Document, Manual Document (Determination, Implementation, and Improvement of Standards) and Work Instructions, as well as Program Study Management Unit (PSMU)-level Form Documents.
- Together with the Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, monitor and evaluate the achievement of SPMI standards at Program Study Management Unit (PSMU).
- Conduct periodic SWOT analyses based on Study Programme Performance Report (SPPR) and SER
- Together with the Dean’s Office, SPME Programme Committee, SPMI Programme Committee, Monev Programme Committee, and Program Study Management Unit (PSMU)
- Support all quality assurance activities organised by the Programme, QA Unit, Program Study Management Unit (PSMU), and LPPMP.
- Monitor the performance of the Deputy Head of SPMI and SPME at Program Study Management Unit (PSMU).
- Report quality assurance results every semester to the Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) leadership.
B. Deputy Head of SPMI
- Together with the UPPS leadership and the QA Unit Chair, coordinate with the head of PPSMM and the SMI PPSMM coordinator to prepare SPMI standard documents, manual documents (establishment, implementation, and improvement of standards) and Work Instructions, as well as Program Study Management Unit (PSMU)-level Form Documents.
- Together with the Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) leadership and the QA Unit chairperson, implement and follow up on SPMI documents.
- Coordinate with the MONEV (Monitoring Evaluation) Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) coordinator to prepare implementation, evaluation, and follow-up documents for quality assurance.
- Support and carry out all quality assurance activities organised by the Study Programme, QA Unit, Program Study Management Unit (PSMU), and LPPMP.
C. Deputy Head of SPME
- Together with the Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) leadership and the Accreditation Team, coordinate with the head of QA Unit and the SPME PPSMM Coordination Committee to prepare for national accreditation or re-accreditation.
- Together with the Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) leadership and the Accreditation Team, coordinate with the head of QA Unit and the SPME PPSMM Coordination Committee to prepare for international accreditation or re-accreditation.
- Together with the Program Study Management Unit (PSMU) leadership and the QA Unit chair, coordinate with the head of PPSMM and the SPME LPPMP coordinator to complete the Study Programme Performance Report (SPPR) and SER forms.
- Support and implement all quality assurance activities organised by the Study Programme, QA Unit, Program Study Management Unit (PSMU), and LPPMP.
