INTERNATIONALIZATION PROGRAM 2021

In line with the University’s vision to become the excellent center of development for science, technology, and arts at the international level based on the noble values of national culture, FKIP UNS conducted five programs in 2020 that are oriented toward Internalization.

International Conference

In 2020, seven International Conference were held by FKIP UNS:

  1. Seminar and Workshop on Research Design for Education, Social Science, Arts, and Humanities (SEWORDFRESSH)
  2. The 4th International Conference on Learning Innovation and Quality Education (ICLIQE)
  3. The 2nd Annual Engineering and Vocational Education Conference (AEVEC)
  4. Language Teacher Training and Education International Conference (LTTE)
  5. The 1st International Forum on Life Science and Education (IFoLSE)
  6. The 5th International Conference on Arts, Language, and Culture (ICALC)
  7. The 2nd International Conference on Science Education and Technology (ICOSETH)

Visiting Professor

In 2020, due to Covid-19 Pandemic, Visiting Professor activities were carried out online. The following is the list of study programs that have visiting professors:

Student Exchange

Similar to Visiting Professor, the Students Exchange program was carried out fully online. Inbound and outbound students follow the academic activities through distance learning.

Student Outbound

There are 46 outbound students:

  • 2 students joined international workshop series
  • 15 students attended the STEM webinar
  • 13 students attended AEVEC webinar
  • 16 students joined the Global Challenge program

Student Inbound

13 foreign students attended the programs held by UNS international office unit.

  • 6 students from the Philippines
  • 6 studenst from Thailand
  • 1 students from Kamboja

Scholar Outbound

In 2020, five FKIP UNS lecturers were involved in scholar outbound activities. They either give lectures or workshops at the International level.

  1. One lecturer taught a regular course at the Fathoni University in Thailand
  2. One lecturer gave a workshop in Transfer Knowledge Forum; Research and Publication with The Education University of Hongkong
  3. One lecturer gave a workshop at the di International Volunteering Youth Forum
  4. One lecturer gave a book writing workshop at the International Workshop Series held by IO FKIP UNS
  5. One lecturer join collaborative research at the Hokkaido University of Japan

International Collaboration Research

In 2020, nine lecturers of FKIP UNS were involved in International Collaboration Research (ICR) in a variety of fields.

  1. Three lecturers were involved in ICR in Javanologi
  2. Three lecturers were involved in ICR in health, tropical disease, nutrition, and medicine
  3. Three lecturers were involved in ICR in disaster mitigation and management.
